Family-to-Family

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session education program for family, partners, friends and significant others of adults living with mental illness. The course is designed to help all family members understand and support their loved one living with mental illness, while maintaining their own well-being. NAMI Pierce County offers the NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program twice a year, usually during the fall and spring.

We hope to offer our next Family to Family class beginning in March and will be presenting it as a joint venture with NAMI Thurston-Mason County.

Class size is limited. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Submit inquiries to info@namipierce.namieasysite.com

* Family-to-Family “curriculum focuses on schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, clinical depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and borderline personality disorder, with a new resource on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The course discusses treatment for these illnesses and teaches the knowledge and skills that family members need to cope with the challenges of living with a relative with a mental illness.”
